Welcome to our audio editing online service
We provide an online audio editing service whereby customers can upload audio to our FTP site, we can then edit it as instructed and place it back to our FTP site ready for download.
Why not just email material as an attachment?
Most email servers will not accept large file transfers as attachments.
Using FTP the transfer can be faster and if communication is broken FTP is able to resume once connection is re-established.
Creating a login
In order for you to upload and download audio to and from our FTP site you'll need a user name and password. We will set that up for you and once this has been done we'll create your own folder where your audio will reside. Just give us a call and we can talk through your requirements.
Straightforward using your internet browser or FTP client
Uploading and downloading audio to our FTP site is straightforward. After logging in you can use your browser or your own FTP software to copy, cut and paste audio to your own FTP folder.
File formats
Certain file formats transfer quicker than others. MP3s for example are already small compressed files. We can edit using mp3 and these can be transferred as they are.
.WAVs & FLAC
Some files particularly .wavs need to be compressed if its more than a few minutes of material and we recommend using FLAC. FLAC stands for Free Lossless Audio
